Amethyst
Context
Amethyst is a Canadian jewelry brand built around handcrafted gemstone pieces and everyday staples, the kind of jewelry meant to be worn daily rather than saved for an occasion. Octarine built a custom Shopify storefront to carry that feeling from the product itself into the browsing experience.
The brand runs on three collections (Gemstones, the Tila collection, and an Everyday range spanning bracelets, necklaces and earrings), each with its own texture but a shared, unfussy voice. The build needed to hold that range together without flattening it into a generic template store.
Product photography, layered styling shots and short-form video carry most of the persuasion, so the storefront was built to let imagery lead: generous product imagery, minimal chrome, and collection pages that feel closer to an editorial lookbook than a standard grid.
