Terms of Use

The terms that apply when you use this site.

Using this site

octarine.studio is run by Octarine Studio Inc. (“Octarine”), a multidisciplinary product design studio. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You may browse, read and share links to the site for personal or business reference. Please do not misuse it: no attempts to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, scrape it at scale or send automated messages through the contact form.

Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, design, graphics, motion, code and the Octarine name and marks, belongs to Octarine unless stated otherwise.

Work shown in our case studies and portfolio belongs to Octarine or to the clients it was made for, and is shown with their permission. Client names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their owners.

You may not copy, reproduce, adapt or republish any of it without our written consent. To ask, email hello@octarine.studio.

Client work

Case studies are shown for portfolio purposes. They describe work at a point in time and may not reflect a client’s current brand, product or website. They are not endorsements by those clients unless stated.

No warranty

The site and its content are provided as is. Lab articles and other material are for general information and are not professional advice. We aim to keep things accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the site will be error free, uninterrupted or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Octarine is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

External links

The site links to other websites, including client sites and social platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Enquiries and engagements

Sending an enquiry, or receiving a reply from us, does not create a client relationship or any obligation on either side. An engagement begins only when both parties sign a written agreement, and that agreement governs the work. How we handle the details you send is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal information, analytics and cookies is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
