Every mole. Every visit. Tracked.
Nevus
Context
Nevus Mole Mapping Institute maps every mole on the body with FotoFinder imaging and AI, then compares each visit with the last. The clinic's first site never made clear what a scan is or why to book one. We rebuilt the brand and the site around that question: a light, product-film site where figures are drawn to scale and hands-on demos replace long paragraphs.
Challenge
A full rebuild and rebrand, with the live site left untouched until launch. A medical imaging service had to read plainly, every line of the old copy had to survive somewhere on the new site, and every number needed a source. A light theme was the one fixed requirement.
Approach
A new wordmark first: lowercase nevus with a blue full stop. Then a site built alongside the live one, 24 pages on one shared PHP layout. The hero is a mole made of particles that part around the cursor. Figures are drawn as infographics, and dials, sliders and a lens let visitors see a scan rather than read about one. On top of the site sit two campaign pages and a print poster: one page for paid ad traffic from people who are curious about their skin, and one for transplant teams, with a live risk calculator.

The Build
Hero
A mole made of particles
Thousands of dots hold the shape of a mole, return to a circle and part around the cursor or a finger.
Figures
Numbers you can see
Every figure is drawn to scale, with dots, bars and clocks sized to the data. Nothing decorative.
Interaction
Show, don't tell
A dial on Home, hold to scan on How it works, and a drag scrubber on Book. Hands-on pieces replace long paragraphs.
Calculator
A risk score, live
A handful of risk factors set the first visit and the follow-up schedule, and the score carries into the referral form.
Stack
Plain PHP, no build step
One shared layout and relative paths, so moving from the preview folder to the root needs no edits. A server-side guard keeps the last words of every line together.
Poster from the same source
The 11x17 poster is an HTML page printed headless to PDF, with the same data and a QR code back to the site.
