Premium South Florida stock, exclusively
Wynstock
Context
Wynstock came to us with a problem most working filmmakers will recognise. Years of commercial shoots across South Florida. Condo launches, development marketing, boat shows, editorial work. Tens of thousands of images and hours of video, the overwhelming majority of it never seen by anyone outside the client who commissioned it.
Every shoot produces far more usable material than any one deliverable can hold. That surplus is normally dead weight. Backed up, catalogued if you are disciplined, and forgotten. They wanted to sell it, and the reference points were obvious enough: Adobe Stock, Shutterstock, Getty. What was not obvious was how a small operation competes with libraries holding hundreds of millions of assets.
The answer is that you do not, at least not on their terms. The generalist libraries are extraordinary at breadth and poor at specificity. Search Miami skyline and you get thousands of results, most shot from the same three vantage points, most of them years stale, none of them showing the building your client is actually trying to sell. For a developer launching a Brickell tower, that gap is the whole problem. Generic does not just underperform. It reads as cheap, which is fatal when the thing being sold costs eight figures.
So the positioning wrote itself. Not a stock library that happens to have Florida in it. A Florida library, exclusively, curated to a standard the generalists have no incentive to hold. Depth over breadth. Place over volume. Curation over catalogue.
